Ordering a service: step by step

Ordering a service on my.openvista.ma always follows the same path: a client account, a configured product, a payment, then provisioning. This guide describes each step and what to check before you confirm.

Create your client account

If you are already a customer, simply sign in to your client area. Otherwise, create an account from the registration page of the portal with a valid email address: the invoice, the service credentials and the renewal notices are all sent there.

Enter accurate billing details: name or company name, address, and tax identifier if your organisation has one. A wrong email address or a misspelled company name forces an invoice correction later and delays your accounting.

Choose the product

The catalogue is organised in groups: Cloud VPS, Software Licenses, Business applications and private cloud, VDI and DaaS, Shared hosting, Global VPN network. Open the group that matches your need, then the product page: it lists the specifications, the available options and the order button.

Take time to compare two neighbouring plans before choosing. A smaller VPS can be resized later, but the change involves a short interruption, so sizing correctly at order time is simpler.

Configure the service

The order form asks for the domain name to attach. Three cases apply: register a new domain, transfer an existing one, or use a domain you already own by changing its name servers. Then enter the requested host name, the operating system for a server or a VDI workstation, and useful options such as backup or an SSL certificate.

Finally check the billing cycle offered: monthly, yearly or multi-year depending on the product. The summary on the right of the page updates with every choice — it is the only reliable place to confirm what you will pay.

Review the cart and pay

The cart shows the product, the options, the cycle and the total. Add a promotional code if you have one, check the applicable tax, accept the terms of service, then choose the payment method among those displayed at this step.

Confirming generates an invoice. If payment is not immediate, the invoice stays unpaid and the service stays pending: it is only provisioned once the payment is received. You can resume the payment at any time from the invoices section of your client area.

Provisioning after payment

Automated products such as VPS and hosting accounts are created as soon as the payment is confirmed. You receive a welcome email with the IP address, the credentials and the connection settings, and the service appears under My services with its status.

Some products are handled manually after validation: quote-based offers, industry packs and consulting assignments. The confirmation email states the expected delay, and the team contacts you to scope the work. Always check the status shown in the client area instead of relying only on email.

If something goes wrong

If no email arrives after payment, check your spam folder first, then the service status in the client area. If the invoice shows as paid but the service is still pending, open a support ticket with the order number and the payment reference: the team can release the provisioning without you paying twice.
