Which certificate should I choose for a brochure site?

A domain-validated certificate is enough for a brochure site or a blog. If you sell online, business validation gives your customers extra reassurance.

Is business validation mandatory?

It is not mandatory to sell online, but it displays your company name in the certificate. Some organisations require it before listing you as a supplier.

What happens when a certificate expires?

The browser shows a security warning and discourages visitors. Our managed plans include monitoring and renewal to prevent this situation.

Can I install a certificate on an external server?

Yes, the SSL installation service covers servers that are not hosted by Open Vista. We install and verify the certificate, then handle monitoring and renewal.
